My laptop decided not to turn on on Friday morning as I came to work. It took me most of the day to find a repair shop for it (it's still under warranty), get there, and get back home. Needless to say, it was hotter than Hell on that particular day.
All my internet needs or viewing needs were satisfied by my husband's HP mini, who is indeed...mini.
In other news, my subscription is running out, and that, and another fellow deviant's journal about deleting people got me thinking about all the years I spent here, all the frustrations and the community itself.
Deviant for 6 years it says on my page. Not sure I have a lot to show for it to be quite honest. I changed some 4-5 avatars in those years, changed the focus of my gallery from writing (which precious few read, to be rather honest. And those who do, you know who you are, and I thank you), to photography, or, to be exact, modeling work, and with all of that, I am, to be quite honest, left with a somewhat bitter taste in my mouth, and a light uneasiness in my stomach.
Like seeing an ex you never got over, I suppose.
Enough of rants now, it's a cool sunny morning, and I need to set our desktop computer up to act as a workstation. Lucky me, eh?
