What I had in mind was a black knight chess piece (i.e. the horse head) with a red ribbon/braid somewhere in it's mane. Nothing too large
The tattoo is to be done in the memory of my grandfather, who taught me how to play chess, and told me the most wonderful stories about witches and elves, and how the fairies would sneak into their stables at night and braid the manes of the horses. It is said that if a man was ever to untangle the braid, the fairies would come and take him away.
So there you go. I hope you will join in, and help me with my new ink fix.
